Bridges of Wisconsin

Long Term Care with Caring

“Ever think about working where you can make a difference?”

We build the “Bridge” that keeps you connected to your community while in long term care.

Are you looking for long term care for yourself or a loved one? You are in the right place because at Bridges of Wisconsin, we help people who need long term care still enjoy life to the fullest that their medical condition allows.

We help people get the care they need without feeling like they have been sent to a medical prison. Our houses are real homes, not big brick care facilities with a sterile hospital like feel.

We have all heard the depressing stories about when people feel “institutionalized” and cut off from the normal world in the average long term care facility. Since our start in 1993, it hasn’t been that way for the people we serve.

Long Term Care with Dignity

Through our fully staffed homes and our in-home care, we are bringing dignity and respect to those with long term care needs. Our client centered approach creates a culture of finding ways to say “yes” to the things you want to do.

After all, our passion is helping you or your loved one feel like you are part of the community while we serve you. That keeps life more fun for you and more fun for our team members there to help you. Honestly, as much as people do not want to live a “sterile life,” we don’t want a “sterile workplace” either.

Over the last few years, we have been saddened to see a trend back to institutional care. Why would companies do that? Last time we checked, people like to live at home. People generally do not want to live in medical institutions where life is about the efficiency of the business instead of the joy of the client. Our goal is to enhance lives, and what is “efficient” in running the most profitable nursing home is not always effective in establishing a quality of life we want for ourselves or a loved one.

Long Term Care that Keeps the Golden Rule

We think what you need us to provide is as easy as following the golden rule: treat others as you would like to be treated. That is why we have a team approach to long term care where our employees come alongside our clients and their families to make the decisions. When you match our client centered focus with our home like (or in-home) care, you get a winning combination.
